What is XPS Tile Tray

The XPS (extruded polystyrene) tile tray is specially designed for shower areas to replace traditional screeding. The tray is faced with fibreglass mesh embedded into a cement polymer mortar on each side.The foam board in the core is 100% waterproof and offers exceptional resistance to water vapour.

With built in drain angle, tiles can be fit according to the slope easily. The tile Tray System is sufficiently robust allowing 100mm tiles or waterproof sheeting to be laid on it without the risk of compression through point loading.

Furthermore, it’s easy to be cut into any size or shape to suit the shower area. Since it is ready for tiling, the shower floor can be easily matched the surrounding decoration. These tile trays are available in a number of sizes
